Localdraw

This project is in development and has a public repository.

I want a tldraw app that I can depend on in the same way I depend on my text editors: local-first and opens instantly when I need it.

I also want it to have power tools, so that it can act as a more serious tool for prototyping and whiteboarding. I think there’s some low-hanging fruit here.

• Text search within the current board
• In-app (reorderable) tabs
• An in-app panel for searching through an icon pack (probably Tabler)
• Full-text search across text in all files
• Command menu
• Frame presets (desktop, mobile, etc)
• Board thumbnail images on home page

Functionality

• Timeline scrubber
• Add all available actions to the MacOS menu bar
• Files like audio, PDF, etc

Preferences

• Choose your own fonts/color palette (including overlays)
• Custom text outline
