It’s slightly annoying that my most popular post is the one where I’m giving advice (even if it’s not meant to be taken seriously).

To make up for this, I plan to publish a lot more stuff in 2024, like, a surprisingly large amount of writing. Most of it will be bad, and hidden away on this site. The good bits will find their way to your inbox through my newsletter (if you’re subscribed).

I’ve grouped my writing into three categories:

1. Lists: Low effort, I keep adding to these over time.
2. Notebooks: These are for exploring topics in public with no promises around writing quality or structure.
3. Guides: Pages that have become useful enough to be instructive, these often grow out of notebooks.
4. Essays: I’m going to try publishing more of them here, especially if they’re personal essays, or riffs instead of Substack-worthy essays.

I don’t love the platform, but at the moment nothing else comes close to it’s ease of use + community. So my best work gets posted there, and sent to my subscribers’ inboxes.
